Industrial grade waterproof redispersible latex powder RDP

At present, most of the polymer emulsion powder applied in the market is made of vinyl acetate, ethylene, tertiary vinyl carbonate and other monomers with polyvinyl alcohol as the protective gum, through emulsion polymerization to get the parent emulsion, and then spray-dried.

Re-dispersible emulsion powder (RDP/VAE) products are water-soluble re-dispersible powders, divided into copolymers of ethylene/vinyl acetate, vinyl acetate/tertiary vinyl carbonate copolymers, acrylic copolymers and so on, spray-dried and made into powder adhesives, with polyvinyl alcohol as the protective colloid. Such powders can be quickly re-dispersed into emulsion after contact with water. Due to the high bonding capacity and unique properties of re-dispersible latex powders, such as water resistance, constructability and heat insulation, they are used in an extremely wide range of applications.

It has outstanding bonding strength, improves the flexibility of mortar and has a longer open time, gives mortar excellent alkali resistance, improves the adhesion of mortar adhesion, flexural strength, waterproofing, plasticity, wear-resistant performance and constructability, and it has strong flexibility in the flexible anti-cracking mortar. With good water resistance and alkali resistance of dispersible latex powder, the use of the scope of construction adhesives, dry mortar modification, wall insulation and finishing systems, wall plastering adhesive and sealing plaster, powder coatings, construction putty in the field.

Redispersible latex powder (VAE/RDP)

At present, most of the polymer emulsion powder applied in the market is made of vinyl acetate, ethylene, tertiary vinyl carbonate and other monomers with polyvinyl alcohol as the protective gum, through emulsion polymerization to get the parent emulsion, and then spray-dried. As a re-dispersible polymer emulsion powder, first of all, it must be easy to re-dispersed in water and/or alkaline cement mortar, and its performance is basically the same as the parent polymer emulsion performance, which is a prerequisite for its application. Secondly, re-dispersible polymer emulsion powder should have good storage stability, in conventional storage conditions, polymer adhesive powder does not stick, maintain good fluidity.
